Licensed Practical Nurses
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) assist the registered nurses with patient education, administering chemotherapy, monitoring chemotherapy side effects, reviewing lab results, and preparing for patient visits by ensuring that all test results and reports are ready for the doctor to review. Medical lab technicians collect blood and other specimens to perform laboratory tests. They evaluate the results and report them in a timely manner to the registered nurses and medical oncologist.
